Alliance Psychological Services is an independent provider of counselling and psychological therapy services based in the Tees Valley area and working across the North-East region. We are an Approved Provider of Psychological Therapies to NHS Tees, are commissioned by local schools, academies and local authorities to provide a range of psychological therapies to children, young people and families and provide workplace wellbeing services to local organisation in support of their employees.

We are currently looking to add to our Children, Young People and Families Team providing services to local Schools, Social Care Teams and Early Help Teams for children and families either in the social care arena or at risk of entering. These posts will be servicing the Teesside area offering evidence-based therapies as part of our growing and developing services and including transformation via CYP IAPT.



We are currently recruiting to Children and Young People’s Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) training posts to begin April 2018 which are fixed term for 12 months. Successful applicants will complete an academic programme developed and delivered by Northumbria University during their first year in post, alongside providing evidence based low-intensity CBT Interventions with children, young people and parents as part of the Service.

Salaries for CYP PWP training posts are £18,500.
