This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for Physical Education, School Sport and Physical Activity (PESSPA) to join Clavering Primary School as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant*.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach PE lessons; lead physical activity sessions; and deliver lunchtime and after-school clubs to our highly enthusiastic pupils.

The ‘Clavering PESSPA Programme’ currently holds a national ‘Community Education Award’, ‘Girls Active’ status, the gold standard of the ‘Youth Sport Trust Quality Mark’, the gold standard of the ‘School Games Mark’ and is a ‘John Muir Award’ provider.

This new position is an exceptional opportunity for the right candidate to join our school at a very exciting time as we move towards addressing the implications of the government’s ‘Obesity Strategy’ and the new ‘Youth Physical Development Model’ (YPDM).
