Description

HOLIDAY ENTITLEMENT: Starting at 30 days holiday per year plus bank holidays. Holidays increase by 1 day for every full year complete, up to a maximum of 5 additional days.

RESPONSIBLE TO : Finance, Administration and Employment Service’s Manager

RESPONSIBLE FOR: Line management of the small but growing administration team, volunteers and apprentices. It is important that you are able to be a positive influence within the team and pass on your knowledge, skills and expertise.

JOB PURPOSE: To co-ordinate the efficient and effective administration of The Junction and its services by supporting the Senior Management Team, colleagues and Board of Trustees to meet the high standards expected of the organisation by ensuring robust systems are in place and followed.

SUPPORT: Support will be provided by the Finance, Administration and Employment Services Manager who will carry out regular supervision.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

People Management

  • To work effectively with colleagues across the organisation at all levels to support the delivery of professional services and to support the achievement of outcomes for children, young people and their families.
  • To manage the day-to-day activities of the administration team ensuring high quality customer and stakeholder relationships and good communications.
  • To develop and manage the administration team activities including providing formal supervision and support for individual members of the team.

System Management

  • To maintain and develop effective systems for all aspects of office management, customer service standards and performance reporting to ensure productive, inclusive and safe working environments across a range of sites.
  • To support the effective operation of systems and activities relating to governance, finance, personnel, fundraising and marketing. This will include minute-taking, use of financial ordering and invoicing systems and associated administrative tasks.
  • To support the effective operation of referral and case recording systems including preparation of data for report writing in line with a variety of programmes and contracts.

Other Duties

  • To undertake other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time commensurate with the post.
