Description

Our client, a diverse business is seeking to recruit an experienced Information and Records Manager.  This is an exciting time to join the company and be involved in specifying, implementing and subsequently training all staff on an electronic records system.

The main purpose of the role is to manage, improve and develop existing record management practice within this innovative and expanding business.  Duties will include reviewing information and implementing best practice whilst ensuring compliance legislation is adhered to and influencing staff across the business at all levels to motivate behaviours to comply with agreed policies.  You will also be responsible for delivering training to all staff and maintaining the system once implemented.

The successful candidate will have a postgraduate qualification in records or information management along with knowledge of the required British standards.  Excellent influencing, communication and presentation skills are essential for this role along with a driving licence due to the location and occasional travel outside the region.
