For every six people who apply for this job, one will be experiencing a mental health issue. It could be you, it might be me. It’s a daunting statistic.
At Middlesbrough and Stockton Mind, a leading mental health charity, they know that human beings need support, whether they currently have mental health problems or not. And that goes beyond the people that Mind is actively supporting, to the brilliant people they employ.
A healthy work/life balance is one important piece of the mental health jigsaw.
So, we’re looking for a Finance Manager to work 22.5 hours per week. Someone with other things in their life that need time too. Children, grandchildren, classic car renovation, golf, baking, an OU degree, you name it. You can even work from home one day a week.
There are no greasy poles, no ‘up or out’ culture, no long hours just to prove something.
The job is well paid, the role is very well respected and the culture is incredibly well loved.
You’ll be on the senior management team, report to the Chief Exec and supervise a member of staff. This is also a new post, so we’ll be looking for your wise head to develop new strategic directions, help us better understand our costs and, ultimately, balance the books.
You’ll also be a career finance/accountancy professional who has worked up to Finance Manager/Financial Controller/Finance Director level and who understands costs, how resources are best used, budgeting, forecasting and analysis.
We aim to support everyone in our local community. And that starts with you.
If this sounds like you please call me, Paul Card, today on 01740 617667 for an informal chat.
