We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst

Karbon’s Strategic Planning and Insight Team is responsible for helping to shape the organisation’s strategic direction by developing robust strategic plans, and supporting decision making through the provision of high quality research, insight and analysis.

To support us in this we are looking for an enthusiastic and confident team player to join our small, friendly and hardworking team as a Business Intelligence Analyst for 6 months on a fixed term contract.

As Business Intelligence Analyst, you will undertake monitoring, technical analysis, investigation and evaluation of our business processes. You will provide bespoke research and analysis capabilities for internal customers using a range of data and analysis techniques.

Reporting into the Strategy and Performance Manager, you will be able to use your skills and expertise to model, interpret and explain statistical data to inform future looking business decisions. This will enable Karbon to link factual data with information on behaviours, needs and aspirations to inform strategic decisions, align services and target resources. Ensuring a clear focus on strategic outcomes, you will be required to develop and manage a variety of research projects, and provide actionable insights to Karbon’s management teams to support the strategic decision-making process.

  • This is a fixed term 6-month contract
  • Salary is Band 6 (£27,993 - £33,088 per year)
  • Hours are currently 35 per week (5 days per week) with flexi time
  • The role is based in Gosforth with travel to other offices across the region.
