LEADING creative digital company has become one of the first agencies in the region to secure international recognition for its high quality business practices.
Digital, recruitment and marketing and exhibitions business, Pearsons, has gained the coveted ISO 9001 accreditation for quality standards – a benchmark which ensures it is delivering the highest possible quality service to its clients.
The team at Pearsons, which has offices in Middlesbrough, Newcastle, and Leeds, spent months working towards the quality accreditation. The company had to meet a tough set of criteria and go through a rigorous audit to ensure it met the highest standards of business practice. It included examining all processes within the company and putting stringent measures in place to monitor its performance.
Karen Large, Pearsons' director of marketing, said: "It's a great accolade to have and we believe we're the only creative digital agency in the region to receive it.
"Our clients are looking for creativity and capability, and we have those, but this is added value which supports our professionalism. It gives our clients a rock solid guarantee that we will do what we promise – to deliver quality service to help clients achieve their objectives."
The award comes less than four months after Pearsons received the ISO 27001 certificate for its role in protecting clients' data. The certificate was given after the digital agency proved its data security systems met the highest possible standards.
"To receive two such accolades in such a short period of time is a real achievement for Pearsons," said Mrs Large.
