Job description


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated, dynamic and highly motivated individual to join the Benefits, Assessments and Charging team within the east area, covering Scarborogh, Whitby & Ryedale. We have full & part time positions available on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for completing financial assessments to determine client contributions towards the cost of residential and non residential services. You will ensure that people receive the maximum possible income by providing welfare benefits advice and assisting with welfare benefits' claims.


You will have excellent communication and customer service skills as well as an extensive knowledge of the welfare benefits system. On-going training is provided to keep pace with changes in benefits' provision. You must also have relevant IT qualifications/experience in word processing and Excel. You must have your own transport for which a mileage allowance is payable. 


Enhanced Level CRB Disclosure is required for appointment to this post.
