An opportunity has arisen within a newly-merged ICT Section for a Business Analyst who is looking to work in a challenging and changing environment as Hambleton and Richmondshire District Councils deliver shared services. Work will initially be focussed on moving to a common set of corporate information systems across the two councils, while maintaining an excellent level of support for existing systems.
You will be responsible for the implementation, operation, support, and continuing development of the Councils' ICT systems and related infrastructure. Self motivated, organised, and with a commitment to service excellence, you must be able to contribute to a wide range of corporate challenges, identify business priorities, inspire others, and meet agreed targets.
You should be educated to degree level, or equivalent, in computing and have recent experience of implementing and supporting corporate information systems and RDBMS.
Experience is preferred in supporting Document Management and Performance Management systems. Experience in ESRI GIS and IDOX UNI-form would also be an advantage.
For an informal discussion and further details please contact Graeme Thistlethwaite, ICT Manager on 01609 767146.
