Job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, skilled and experienced Bereavement Counsellor to work alongside the Head of Bereavement Service to continue the provision of high quality psychological and emotional support to the people of Hartlepool and East Durham.

Being an accredited member or eligible for accreditation with the BACP (or equivalent), whilst taking a lead role in working with children referred to us, you will also provide individual counselling for adults referred to the service. You will be experienced in carrying out assessments and be comfortable in facilitating group work.

This is a new role under the banner of Kay Smith Counsellor. The Kay Smith foundation is a private fundraising group.
