Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent 30 hour contract Team leader post to work within the Hospice. You will be required to work as part of our Multidisciplinary Team, assess, plan and evaluate patient care. You will also be required to provide support and advice to your colleagues.

• Applicants require a minimum of 3 years post registered experience and need to have knowledge and experience in palliative care.


• Achievements at Degree level or the desire to undertake is preferred.


• A Teaching Certificate or equivalent is also required as well as good communication skills and to represent the Hospice in a positive light.


• The applicant needs to have a desire to be a lead nurse within a specialist area to support the Hospice in providing care to its community and addressing future health trends.
