We require permanent START Resource Workers (Care) to join our reablement
team in Easingwold and the surrounding area. We are looking for individuals
who are dedicated to promoting the independence of the people we support.
There are five available posts at 20 hours per week and one post at 23 hours
per week. Usual shifts would be 7.00 am -1.00 pm and 4.00 pm -10.00 pm.
The main focus of your work will be to provide reablement support to
vulnerable people in the community, this could be after a hospital discharge
or a period of illness when care needs may have changed. The reablement
team would help our vulnerable people to regain and maximise their
independence in response to an assessment of their needs. You will report
back to the manager on the individual's progress over a period of time.
Full training will be given to support you in this role.
Previous experience is desirable, but not essential for the post. However,
there is an expectation that you will complete an NVQ2 in Social Care over a
12 to 24 month period.
You must hold a full current driving licence and there will be a requirement
for you to work evenings and weekends on a rota basis as part of a 7 day
