Description

Due to the exciting further growth and expansion of our children’s residential services we are seeking to appoint a Night Care Officer.  The post involves working through the night checking students are safe and comfortable and recording the findings on the residential log.  You will complete a range of domestic tasks around the residence. 

In the morning the post will involve assisting students with getting up and getting ready for their day in school.  Working as part of a small team the successful candidates will be responsible for the care and wellbeing of the children and young people in residence.

These positions are to work with children and young people with multiple and profound learning disabilities and we are especially keen to hear from those with experience in working with young people who have complex emotional and challenging needs which can include autism, ADHD and other complex disabilities.   Candidates should hold or be willing to work towards a Level 3 diploma for the children and young people’s workforce (QCS).

Please note: due to Ofsted regulations it is a genuine occupational requirement that applicants are aged 21 or over.
