Description

We are recruiting for a new role within our teams: Housing Support Officers who will provide housing management support to clients living in Harbour refuges and other properties, with responsibility for all tenancy related matters.

They will ensure clients have a clear agreement for their tenancy, can live in a safe and secure environment and that rents are received to secure the sustainability of the accommodation. They will work closely with our adult support teams who will be providing advice and support to these clients, helping them to prepare for independent living.

We are looking for Housing Support Officers to be based in either North Tyneside, Tees Valley or Durham/Darlington. There are four posts available.

The post holders will need to be female* as they will be working closely with women in our refuges. We welcome applications from enthusiastic, compassionate women, with some experience of housing management practices and procedures.

We are looking for excellent people skills, an aptitude for communication and an ability to work with initiative.Successful applicants must undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
