At Butterwick Hospice Care we strive to ensure the very highest quality of care for our patients and their families. We currently have over 600 volunteers helping us deliver this level of care and we are looking for new people to join our excellent team. Butterwick Hospice Care offers respite and end of life care for children and adults from across Teesside, County Durham, Wearside and North Yorkshire.

As a Volunteer Driver - Patient Transport, you will be responsible for providing a safe and welcoming transport service by driving patients to/from their home to/from Day Care thus enabling patients to attend the service either at the Hospice, or appropriate Outreach centre.

The Volunteer Driver- Patient Transport plays a vital role in ensuring patients are able to access what can be a vital service, allowing them to receive specialist care and advice in a sociable and welcoming environment that can make patients feel comfortable and relaxed.

Full training will be provided.

We are looking for new Volunteer Drivers - Patient Transport with a warm, welcoming personality who is available one day a week from 9.15am-10.30am, lunchtimes or 3pm-4.30pm.
