&lt;p&gt;Due to recent expansion, our client currently has a new vacancy for an enthusiastic, customer-focused Mechanical &amp; Electrical Surveyor to help them to continue to make a difference.  This is a full time permanent post and the salary is £27,500 per annum.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;These are exciting times for our client as they are now taking the opportunity to grow and expand. Specifically, this means taking over the responsibility for heating installations and electrical rewires as part of the Planned Maintenance Programme.  The M&amp;E Surveyor will undertake pre-inspections, specify works and carry out quality control inspections on various types of new installations, ensuring high quality product is delivered to all clients.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;You will assist in the on-site supervision of both gas and electrical trade operatives, making sure that they are competent whilst also monitoring issues of productivity and quality.  You will also be asked to diagnose faults and specify repairs; in situations where repairs are not possible to undertake full survey of property, compiling specification and issuing works instructions to replace the redundant element/system.  You will also undertake joint inspections with client officers to discuss issues of workmanship, quality and costs, provide management reports and ensure compliance with legislation relating to gas and electrical safety.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Our client is looking for individuals that hold a current Gas Safe registration and the appropriate certifications and qualifications for completing heating installs such as: ASC code CCN1, CEN1, HTR1, WAT1, CKR1, CPA1, MET1.  They are interested in hearing from you if you are currently working in a housing / building environment and have extensive experience of gas heating and boiler installations.  You will also need knowledge of Gas Safety Regulations 1998 and H&amp;S and asbestos legislation and in addition a solid working knowledge of Good knowledge and understanding of the Electricity at Work Regulations, current edition of BS 7671, Part P and the Codes of practice and guidance documents relevant to the range of electrical work undertaken.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Finally about you; if you are a team player, but are also someone who can work unsupervised, and are the type of person who is committed and hard working along with a commitment to customer care we would like to hear from you.  You will need a full driving licence and the ability to work flexibly to meet customer needs.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Our client, a provider of housing and regeneration, currently hasan exciting opportunity for a Repairs and Voids Team Leader to be responsible for line management of the repairs and voids team in London.  This is a full time post and the salary is circa £34,000 - £36,000.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Forging strong relationships between internal and external partners in relation to maintenance services you will ensure an inclusive approach to resident involvement, scrutiny and communication of performance in maintenance services. Continuously improving accuracy of raised works order you will also provide technical guidance to surveyors and CCC operatives.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Working with the repairs contractor you will also provide reports to the Head of Operations monthly around KPI data, trends and initiatives. Working with front line services to improve process mapping and lean process reviews of Group maintenance services you will also utilise internal reporting, audit and benchmarking to drive improvements in the repairs service.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The successful candidate will have experience of working within contract management and managing a team. Knowledge of a repairs service environment in social housing and an understanding of communication and negotiating effectively with various stakeholders and working in a target driven environment is essential. High level administration, project management, communication and negotiation skills are also required for this role.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;An ability to manage high level business relationships and the ability to undertake specialist training to achieve sound technical building maintenance knowledge is essential. In addition you will have excellent IT skills.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Reporting to the Voids Contract Manager, the Voids Surveyor will undertake a full range of building surveying and property services duties, including quality control and inspections, condition surveys, defects diagnosis and other property matters. You will be responsible for ensuring that properties are maintained and improved to the required standards within agreed budgets and timescales.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Our client is seeking highly motivated and pro-active individuals to help them to develop and deliver their commitment to provide excellent services and to actively engage their diverse communities. The successful candidateswill be educated to HNC or equivalent in building or construction coupled with previous experience within a housing maintenance or surveying environment. You will need previous experience of working with customers first hand along with the ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Due to the nature of the role you will ideally have previous experience within social housing or a housing environment together with knowledge of housing maintenance, repairs, diagnosing defects and remedial works.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;A fullUKdriving license is also required.&lt;/p&gt;
