&lt;p&gt;Our client, a pioneering housing, regeneration and social investment provider, is seeking an experienced Facilities Officer to join their Safety &amp; Facilities Corporate Services team in Chippenham.  This is a permanent role and the salary is £22,091 - £24,300 per annum.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Hands on and practical, the Facilities Officer will have experience of working within an office environment and you will have an understanding of H&amp;S aspects within a facilities function. With a good understanding of the principles of customer service and ability to deliver excellent service to customers you will be the first point of contact for staff members with facilities and people related H&amp;S issues. You will maintain an efficient customer service and ensure the effective control of contracts.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Monitoring and responding to facilities helpdesk calls, responding within set timescales you will allocate work and raise works orders as appropriate. Maintaining service levels agreed for facilities contracts across the Group you will undertake contract review meetings with suppliers, revising and updating contracts as required. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The ideal candidate will have a good general or technical education beyond GCSE, e.g. 2 or more A-Levels grade C or above/ NVQ3, this will include Maths and English GCSE’s at grade C or above or vocabulary, verbal reasoning and numerical skills to the equivalent ability level as well as substantial experience in a similar role is essential. The ability to develop and maintain systems to monitor service / contract delivery and standards and good working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required. Ideally you will also have excellent communication skills both oral and written.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Due to the nature of the role a clean driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential as the Facilities Officer will be required to travel to all offices/sub offices across the group. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The Finance Administrator will process all day to day transactions via a mainstream accounting package i.e. Sage or Quick Books, inward / outward invoicing duties, production of income and expenditure accounts and balance sheets, liaising with the external payroll provider, preparing data and reports as required and liaising with the Finance sub-committee and Executive Officers.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It would be desirable that the candidate is at least part AAT qualified (or equivalent) and has relevant experience in a similar role. Experience of working in the voluntary sector and the ability to uphold our Christian ethos would also be desirable.&lt;/p&gt;
