The role of a Cover Supervisor is to deliver pre set lessons to a class of children and is extremely rewarding! You will need to assist the children with the work that has been set and maintain a positive and constructive classroom atmosphere at all times then pass the work to the permanent member of staff. These positions are great for people who are looking to become a teacher and are wanting to start a PGCE in September 2013/14.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;About the role&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;You will co-ordinate the volunteer led weekly walking groups in South East Northumberland. The role involves training and supporting volunteers, administration related to the functioning of the groups, organising planning meetings, developing new groups and working with other stakeholders to encourage walking opportunities in the area. You will accompany walks as necessary in order to monitor quality and customer satisfaction.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;About you&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;You will have experience in community development work and preferably of volunteer recruitment. You will be able to work independently and as part of a team.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;You will have excellent communication and motivational skills and be IT literate.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;You must have relevant knowledge of the range of tasks together with the operation of associated tools and equipment an appreciation and interest in the need for the service. You will have the strength, dexterity and co-ordination to manoeuvre bins and operate hydraulics and the specialist skills associated with the operation and maintenance of the hydraulic equipment. You must be able to cope with the regular high level physical demands and the ability to maintain general awareness for safe working conditions&lt;/p&gt;</description>
